Edward is Of Counsel for the firm in the California office. He has extensive experience handling a wide range of real estate transactions and is one of the leading lawyers in the shopping center industry and has represented numerous center owners and developers. Ed was the founder and President of the Krasnove Law Firm prior to its being acquired by Griffin Fletcher & Herndon LLP. Previous to that, he was a partner in Huprich & Krosnove, LLP, and a partner in the Century City office of Pircher, Nichols & Meeks. He also served for nine years as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Alexander Haagen Properties, Inc., a real estate Investment trust located in Manhattan Beach, California.
Mr. Krasnove was Co-Chairman of the ICSC U.S. Shopping Center Law Conference in 1982, 1983, 1988 and 1989, and has been a lecturer at ICSC Law Conferences, University of Shopping Centers, ALI-ABA, BLI, The American College of Real Estate Lawyers, California Continuing Education for the Bar, Georgetown University Law Center and Lorman Education Services. He is included in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, and is a current member of the ICSC U.S. Shopping Center Law Conference Committee, The American College of Real Estate Lawyers, and the Committee for the ICSC California Retail Symposium.
Mr. Krasnove is a graduate of Brooklyn College of the City University of New York, B.A., 1967, and the John Marshall Law School, J.D. with Honors, 1970.
