David M. Meranus
David is an associate with the firm and represents clients in connection with all phases of transactional real estate including business and real estate acquisition and disposition, negotiation and drafting of retail and commercial real estate contracts, tax appeals, land use entitlement, zoning, and title.
Prior to joining the firm, David was an associate at Schwartz Manes Ruby & Slovin, Principal at the Law Offices of David Meranus, LLC and General Counsel and Vice President of Business Development for The Sheakley Group of Companies.
David earned an LL.M in Taxation from the University of Florida in 1993, a J.D. from the University of Toledo in 1991 and his B.A. with Honors from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1987. He is a member of the Cincinnati and Ohio State Bar Associations. David is a past member of the Sycamore Township Land Use Advisory Board and served as Membership Chair for USGBC Cincinnati.
David’s father drew him to the legal profession, as he followed in his dad’s footsteps. He is the father of two sons, and enjoys playing golf, platform tennis, and spending time with family in his spare time.
