Amy A. Shaw
Amy Shaw is an associate of the firm. She represents clients in connection with all phases of real estate acquisitions and sales, including due diligence, financing, and closing. Amy also focuses her practice on commercial leasing, construction, development, entity formation, and general corporate matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Amy was an associate at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP and assistant general counsel at Tropicana Casinos and Resorts, Inc.
Amy received her J.D. from the University of Virginia in 2000 where she was a member of the senior editorial board of the Virginia Journal of International Law. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, and with University Honors, from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1993, where she was elected to membership in the Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa honor societies. Amy serves on the board of the Friends of the William Howard Taft Birthplace. Amy has served as an adjunct instructor of business law at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College and has lectured on the topic of Ohio landlord-tenant law. She is a member of the Cincinnati and Ohio State Bar Associations.
Outside of work, Amy is a proud mother, runner, volunteer with Good Samaritan Hospital’s Special Care OB unit and NICU, and Auburn University football fan.
